Electric City Aquarium & Reptile Den

Aquarium design / layout, Scranton, PA

The Electric City Aquarium & Reptile Den was opened in the fall of 2018 at the Steamtown Marketplace in Scranton, PA.    The 20,000 sq. ft. space provides a home for sea and land creatures, along with spaces to accommodate educational, event, and shopping activities.

Studio m provided architectural services & coordinated specialty equipment as well as structural modification to the existing mall building and parking structure below.  The unique project included input from various teams and organizations from across the country & required continuous updates thru construction to ensure a smooth, on-time opening.
